Lean conservatory prices can vary a great deal and will depend on a variety of factors including the company you choose to supply and install the structure, the size and the specific design you opt for.
We have done a little research into the prices of lean to conservatories to see what we could find out. Hopefully this will give you some kind of idea about what you can expect to pay for different types of lean to design. Bare in mind though that the vast majority of conservatories are going to be made-to-measure, meaning that they will be designed specifically for you and your home. No two structures are ever really the same, even if the actual dimensions are very similar. As a result, we cannot offer definitive advice telling you what any one conservatory will cost you.
What Affects price?
Obviously the size of a lean to conservatory is going to have a bearing on the cost, this goes without saying and will usually be the most important factor in determining what you can expect to pay. When you know what kind of size conservatory will best suit your home, you can begin to think about some of the other things that will affect the total cost of the project.
Glass Height
uPVC Colours and Effects
There are a few different options available to you if you do not want a conservatory produced from standard white uPVC, which will be the cheapest. The colour can have a surprising impact on the total cost, increasing it more than you would first think. The same is true if you choose a wooden effect such as Rosewood or Golden Oak. Opting for non-standard colours or uPVC styles can sometimes increase the over lean to conservatory cost by as much as 50%, it will usually be less than this but you will often be looking at paying an extra 25% for these custom options.
Obviously choosing real wood rather than uPVC is going to increase costs as well. How much the price increases by will depend on your supplier and the kind of wood they use.
Guideline Figures
After looking at the websites of several different lean to conservatory installers, we have found that you are unlikely to find a structure for much less than £1000. Any conservatories in this kind of price range will be the most basic dwarf wall designs, around 2m x 2m in size. You can however still pay much more than this for a small sized, lower end conservatory. If you are looking to purchase a structure of the same size with floor to ceiling glass panels that is constructed from uPVC other than the standard white option, prices can be over £2000. Lean to conservatory costs will then increase steadily as you look at large structures, and can rise to over £10,000
We recommend you contact several suppliers and obtain customised quotations that will take your specific wants and needs into consideration. Until you do so, it will not be possible to make a sensible decision about what kind of conservatory will be best for you with your current budget.

The height of the glass panels used will make a difference to lean to conservatories prices. The first option you will have is full height (floor to ceiling) glass panes which will often be the most expensive. There are also infill panels where the glass meets a small uPVC wall near the ground, it is common for these designs to cost around the same as ones with full height glass. Finally, a dwarf wall design will have a small brick wall built up from the ground, the glass panes then fill in the rest of the space up to the ceiling of the conservatory. This is usually the cheaper option.
